A wonderfully warm and cosy farmhouse which has been thoughtfully renovated without sacrificing any of its original character of oak beams, stripped pine doors and stairs and slate floors. It is set in a beautiful rural location with wonderful views over the surrounding farmland and masses of wildlife to watch from your window. The farmhouse has its own private garden with a patio and garden furniture. It is near to the lovely sandy beaches and sea at Aberdyfi and the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia. Nearby there are cycling routes, plenty of walks and a wide variety of places to visit. We are near to the RSPB reserve at Ynyslas and often see the Red Kite soaring above.
Tastefully furnished throughout, Llwyn-y-Gronfa has a large and comfortable, light and airy lounge with some lovely views over the surrounding farmland. It has a woodburner and colour TV with a DVD player. There is a dining room/lounge with old oak beams which also has some beautiful views. This has a woodburner and colour TV . The modern oak fitted kitchen has an electric inbuilt oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave and is very well equipped with the usual array of kitchen crockery and utensils. Both the dining room/lounge and kitchen have the original slate floors while the lounge is carpeted.

Upstairs there are 4 large bedrooms and a family bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms with single beds with lovely soft duvets and Welsh wool blankets.

A washing machine and drier are situated in the utility, which can also be used as a lockable storage for cycles.
Llwyn-y-Gronfa has central heating installed. All linen, towels and electricity and gas for the heating is included in the price.
The farmhouse sleeps 6. Changeover day is Friday. Short breaks are also accepted.
