A charming 18th century former miner’s cottage, sympathetically renovated to retain its original features, with oak beams and a lovely oak inglenook with a cosy open fire.
Nestled in the surrounding hills and set in its own private garden it enjoys amazing views over the surrounding our farmland. Just four miles due east of the historical town of Machynlleth it is a beautiful place to enjoy a really relaxing holiday with many walks starting from the front door.
This carefully renovated cottage has a wealth of its original character retained. All the original oak beams are in place as well as the original bread oven in the inglenook with its open cosy fire. This tastefully furnished holiday cottage has a family lounge with Smart TV, DVD and Video Player, Radio and CD Player.
The all electric kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer as well as the usual range of cutlery and crockery. There is a washer and drier in the utility.
There are 3 spacious bedrooms, two doubles with beautiful Welsh Tapestry Quilts and one single all tastefully furnished. All beds are made up with fresh linen and towels are laid ready for your arrival.
There is a downstairs bathroom with shower over the bath and an upstairs cloakroom.
